In September 1987 I decided to take pictures in black and white of Disneyland. The park is so colorful and there are many interesting things to see. The color and the people sometime take away from really seeing Disneyland. So I went for two days, when there really was an off-season. I took pictures of the normal park sites. I also took pictures, I think, most people really don't notice at Disneyland. All the pictures are inside the park. They may not be great, but it is a history of Disneyland in 1987. The Disneyland cast members are great! This horse stood completely still while I focused, framed the shot and then I clicked the picture. It took a little while. As soon has I clicked the horse starting being a horse and moving around. It's probably one of those things where you have to be there, but it was kinda funny. The picture below you can see Michael Eisner and Mickey Mouse with the marquee reading Walt Disney Film Festival. They were filming that day I'm assuming for The Wonderful World of Disney.
The pictures below were taken in and around the castle. Just after the park opened.
