It stayed in the top 10 for 15 weeks and was the first number 1 of 1999. It was the biggest selling single in January and one of the biggest in February. It was the 18th best selling single of 1999. The next single, "Better Best Forgotten" had its' release delayed for 5 weeks due to Heartbeat/Tragedy's continued success.
