LONDON WELSH v NORTH WALES 1965
Nearly 43 years ago the Gogledd Cymru/North Wales team travelled to Old Deer Park to play against John Dawes' London Welsh side which included a young (relatively!) Tony Gray. There are familiar names in the N. Wales team-Eddie Burford President of Llangefni RFC, Ruthin's (Judge) John Rogers and a Colwyn Bay front row?

Incidentally the programme advertises a 3 course meal for two plus a bottle of wine for 2.60p.which is less than the price of a pint nowadays also the Bar at deer park was closed on the afternoon of the big game reopening in the evening-we hope its not the case this Saturday!
