Character Meet and Greet Wish List
Return to Full List
Pirates of the Caribbean's Captain Jack Sparrow may be one of the most memorable characters in Disney history, but at Walt Disney World, he seems limited to appearing for meet-and-greets only at the Magic Kingdom's Pirate and Princess Party events.

What characters do you most want to meet but haven't seen in the Disney parks yet? I asked this question to site visitors and the members of Disboards.com and got a wide variety of answers. Here are the Top 10 characters with the most votes after voting was closed.
#1- Captain Jack Sparrow
Tinker Bell has been a classic character since she premiered in 1953's Peter Pan. For years Tink only appeared in shows and parades but now will appear for meet-and-greets at Magic Kingdom's Toontown Fair with her friends from Pixie Hollow.

#2- Tinker Bell
Maleficent, the Mistress of All Evil from Sleeping Beauty, is one of the most memorable Disney villains (not to mention one of the most terrifying). Besides her meet-and-greets at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, she is very rare to see out and about.

#3- Maleficent
Jiminy Cricket, the charming conscience of Pinocchio, has been a rarity in the parks for years, but in recent years, he's started to appear more regularly.

#4- Jiminy Cricket
Flamboyant villainess Cruella De Vil first debuted in 1961 animated version of 101 Dalmatians, and has been a popular Disney character ever since, both on-screen and at Walt Disney World.

#5- Cruella De Vil
Gus, one of Cinderella's mouse friends who helped make her dreams come true, may only appear in the SpectroMagic Parade at Magic Kingdom, but Disney fans wish that he was out for meet-and-greets as well.

* Note: Gus does not do character meet-and-greets. He currently can be seen in shows and parades only *
#6- Gus
Ursula was the powerful sea witch from The Little Mermaid, but in the theme parks, her limited mobility on land seems to limit her to appearing in shows and parades.

* Note: Ursula does not do character meet-and-greets. She currently can be seen in shows and parades only *
#7- Ursula
Wicked stepmother Lady Tremaine recently began appearing at Walt Disney World and can now be seen at the Cinderella character dinner at the Grand Floridian Resort's 1900 Park Faire or various special events at the Magic Kingdom.

#8- Lady Tremaine
Aristocat kitten Marie is one of the newest characters to appear in the parks, and she is definitely a welcome addition to the characters line-up.

#9- Marie
Fans made it clear that many want to see the Muppets in the parks, and no Muppet got more votes than Miss Piggy. While she hasn't been out regularly for a while, she can still be seen the Disney Starts and Motor Cars Parade at Disney-MGM Studios.
