First house on right is office with a book printing press, 2nd driveway is the church.

** New church has many different attractive areas that are open to the community for trade fairs, functions of any sort, anyone's wedding (not just the congregants), the largest area does seat 900 and can be hired for concerts or (non-church) educational purposes.
**This church is part of 25 churches called "Restoration Fellowship International" which are mostly in Australia. (Also New Zealand, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Pakistan and Malaysia.) "Restoration Fellowship International" basically has standard charismatic beliefs generally speaking. Sister churches names include names like "Melbourne Christian Fellowship" and "Brisbane Christian Fellowship".
** Background, these people are NOT Brethren. They are Pentecostal. The church that was opposite them, where they used to be, in 19 Long St, is Brethren. No relation whatsoever. TCF are standard Charismatics although they do slightly keep to themselves. They do not follow any "trends" in the Charismatic church like the Toronto blessing or anything else. Parishioners are required to follow their Pastors very closely. This is cited as the secret of their success in Pastors staying in their church in one appointment for as long as 17 years. (Normally Pastors stay in their churches 5 years. 10 years is considered a long time.)
** Generally, there is a strict code of ethics attached to this church unlike other Pentecostal churches. They are less strict than the closed Brethren. But a lot stricter than Anglican/ Uniting churches. To figure out this churches rules, you probably need to read about the closed Brethren rules to gauge what you can and can’t do in this church. As an example, it is quietly suggested you not date outside of their church, you may date in your own home or youth group, there is a very strong work/ study hard ethic across the board. If you openly give 10% of your income, more doors of opportunity avail themselves. The whole "single parent trap" is frowned upon. So much so, that, single parents have been suggested that they give their children up for adoption. Thus, "divorce" will basically be seen as "Biblical adultery" and also is a "damnable offence". The church can "freeze" out even family members, if you break enough rules. Single people get organised into shared accommodation.

The mother Church "Emanuel" started 25 years ago in Brisbane but no longer exists and there are 6-14 churches all up now. It's definitely not a Brethren movement. They have shifted to a 60 acre property 4.1 kms down at "10 Old Goombungee Rd" towards Merigandan.
17. Dress code so as not to stand out: Casual to smart. Pastors have casual open necked shirt.
