Episode 40: Sea Sick and Tired
After being saved by Pixiemon the Digidestined kids end up on the same beach where they fought Shellmon. At Spiral Mountain the kids are bein observed by Piemon and Metal Seadramon. Metal Seadramon tells Piemon that he will take care of the Digidestined children and that he'll finish them off. On the beach, the kids hear the sound of someone drowning in the ocean, and they find a canoe and head out to sea to find the victim. When they reach the spot where they hear the cries for help, they only find Shellmon. Shellmon begins to rip through the kids canoe, almost capsising it. Tentomon, Biyomon, and Gomamon head out to save the kids. They easily defeat shellmon in their Rookie stages, but collaspe afterwards. Tai comments that their digimon must be stronger because it took Agumon the Digivolve to Graymon before they defeated Shellmon last time they met with him. TK notices a snack bar at the end of the beach, and the kids begin to think about the great beach food that is there. The eight kids and digimon make a mad dash for the snack bar, casing Joe to step on Mimi's heel, so that he and she, along with their digimon are left begind. When Tai, Matt, Izzy, Sora, Kari, TK and thier digimon reach the snack bar, they find out that it was a trap set my Metal Searamon, and his henchman Scorpiomon. Scopiomon uses his sand attack to knock out Tai and the others, while Mimi and Joe watch from the snack bar window. They follow Metal Seadramon and Scorpiomon into the woods where Metal Seadramon pays Scoriomon in clams. Scorpiomon tosses an empty clam away and hits Gomamon on the head, causing him to make a peep. Metal Seadramon hears this and when he checks the snack bar, he only sees six of the eight Digidestined. He sends Scorpiomon to look for the other two and he quickly finds Joe and Mimi. Joe and Mimi are able to outrun Scorpiomon, and he gives up and digs a tunnel back to the beach. At the beach, Gomamon finds some clams, and he and Palmon hungarly eat the clams. Gomamon tosses one into the surf, but under the waves, Scorpiomon sees that Gomamon and Palmon are eating his clams he attack again. Gomamon and Palmon digivolve to their champion leves, yet are unable to defeat Scorpiomon. They digivolve again to their ultamate levels and Zudomon is able to knock Scorpiomon out with his Vulcan Hammer attack. Zudomon drags the uncontious Scorpiomon back to the snack bar where Metal Seadramon is planing to set the bar ablaze. Lillymon, Mimi, and Joe awaken their fallen friends, and usher them out of the bar, and place Scorpiomon in, just as Metal Seadramon toasts it. Metal Seadramon sees that Scorpiomon has failed and has let the other six kids get away, so he punishes Scorpiomon by slamming him down on the beach. On a distant shore The eight kids and their digimon take a little rest. They now know how strong the Dark Masters are, and they begain to plan how they are going to stop them, just as Metal Seadramon appears!...
