The Time in Love

In matters of the heart, time is just but a distant notion,
For true love is eternal and has no concept of time t'ward its devotion.

What seems like weeks, months, and years are but like flashes before love's eyes,
And so it never poses an answer to questions such as when or why.

Therefore true love need not be hastened, nor anxiously hurried along,
For these acts are an impossibility and failure shall trample upon love's song.

True love should be patiently waited on for those who seek its company,
And with belief in that and time, love shall surely come 'tween you and me.
