John Andrew Agbay

John Andrew AgbayAndrew is a graduating Communication Research student in UP Diliman. He is a native of Bulacan born on November 29, 1980.

His friends describe him as simple, nice-to-be-with guy. He is a kind of person who never lets obstacles/problems hinder him from achieving his goals. When asked, his ultimate goal is to be a respectable, well-known lawyer in the future.

Andrew is very proud of his accomplishments. Some of which are: Honoree as one of the Most Outstanding 2000-2001 Senior Scholars in UP by the International Social Science Honor Society of Pi Gamma Mu, consistent University and College Scholar since 1997, and participant in the final sessions of the 2000 UNIV National Congress sponsored by ICU, Rome.

Academics is not the only focus of his college life. He is also busy with his extracurricular activities. He is a member of UP Journalism Club (UPJC), Dormitory Peer Counselors (PC), UP Psychological Understanding for Growth and Development (PUGAD), Samahan ng mga Iskolar Mula sa Bulacan (SIMBULAN), and the Molave Residence Hall Publicity Committee.

His motto in life is: "Some men see things as they are and say, why? I dream of things that never where and say, why not?"

Allyn Valino Baldemor

Allyn V. BaldemorLife according to Allyn is a journey in which the destination doesn't much matter if you enjoyed every step of the way. Her zest for life [according to Reinier] belies her true age which is, ehem, 29.

Hers is supposed to be a success story in the making, to end hopefully this October. It has taken Allyn 13 years before she can don the toga her groupmates so proudly wear.

Allyn is a senior Journalism student originally from UP Baguio. During the early 90s, Allyn wrote for The Philippine Collegian and for Sinag, as a news editor. She also qualified as editor for the then just-ressurected Tinig ng Plaridel, but this is one of the things she regretfully gave up in order to make a living.

From proofreader to PR writer, a brief stint as a magazine editor, some years as corporae copy editor, and now freelance writer and renegade web editor, Allyn has had more than her share of the real world. Perhaps this is why she enjoys immensely the break from reality college life offers.

Please don't text her because she's almost always out of load. If you're hunting her down for any reason, try the cinemas and coffee shops at Glorietta or that one cybercafe in Katipunan.

In a word Allyn is eclectic. What you see is not at all what you get [right, Reinier?].
