The English language has been turned into international cottage cheese. We need... an American language! For instance, shouldn't we say the alphabet with each letter's name ending in an EEE sound? It would make things less complicated. Why is "F" eff? Why not Fee? Why is "G" pronounced jee? Its geeee. And "H" is Hee. Now we come to "J" again. Isn't THAT Jee? "K" is Kee, "L" is Lee, Mee, Nee, and so on. "O" would be hard to pronounce -unless you are a Hebrew. "S" would be See, except "C" would have to be changed to CHee, because we would already have a Kee. Now "W" is definitely a letter that needs a name change. Simple: Wee. "X" is good for nothing, just delete it. "Y" is Yee and of course, "Z" is still Zeeee. Why don't we spell the words in the dictionary like the pronunciation word in the parenthesis. It would still sound the same. Still have the same meaning ... And what's up with ... You know ... Those three little dots. See ... Those three friggin' dots. You use one dot, a period, to end a sentence (and a good time), and three dots after a sentence to leave a person just hangin'. What do two dots mean? I dunno ... |
