| A small sample of Ariel's works |
| A Desert A road leads toward nothing in the lands of heat with tumbling dead plants and so little to eat. Coyotes are howling and hunting for food. As scorpions change color to show off their mood. Rattlesnakes slink swiftly over hot sands. Above them thin vultures circle around the land. The desert is filled with creatures of wonder who fear not the Sun but everything under. Treasure your forests and the fields far away for they shall never come here Neither tomorrow nor today. Ariel Laws 4th grade |
