Baska is an Istanbul origined breed and its main speciality is the cut of the coloring. The white head marking has to be separated from the main body color with a very even line. |

The main colors of this breed are black, blue, yellow and red. The colors must be "tatli" (self) and with out any staining. Dull colors are considered to be a foult. Ideal set-up for the wings is to have first five or less flights white. These white feathers must be in same numbers on each wing. |

Standard eye color for this breed is black. Any other color is considered as a foult. They have a head shape very similar to Bangos. Leg feathering is not a good quality for this breed and the feathers to the elbows must be with out any white. |

Baska is a very good parent and has a very strong body. Well trained baska will fly for about two hours and is a high flier. They fly in kits. They are easly trainable and very responsive to the droppers by closing their wings and diving to the loft. Because of this quality they are used as companions to doneks. |
