| Azman is the most popular and commonly found short-beaked breed kept in Denizli. Characteristic cornered head structure and popped out eyes of Bango cannot be found on Azman. | When closely examined it can be seen that the forehead curves forward from the head and between the eyes to the beak-tip creates a perfect triangle. Beak is longer than Bango's. Eyes are normal size and come in every possible color. Having strong physical qualities it is also a good parent. | They fly in a very tight kit formation. They almost never leave the area above the loft and respond to a dropper by closing its wings and diving. Because of this quality they are flown as companion to D�neks and Dolapcis. Number of birds in a kit is not important in this breed. Young birds must be trained with in an experienced group of birds. If several young birds flown by them selves, the fancier must expect a flight for several hours. If these birds are from a goodblood line they will land after flying for many hours with out any sign of being tired. |

| Azmans can be seen in any color but the most popular pattern is the karakuyruk (black-tail). It is very important for a karakuyruk to not to have a kapak (lid), white small feathers under the tail. Ciba (color shield and tail) is another favorite color combination. White tailed ciba does not exist in Denizli. Whatever the shield color is the tail is the same color. White tailed versions came about by mixing with foreign breeds in recent years. Other popular colors are the selfs, checkers and �akals (jackals). | It is known that this breed has come to Denizli from Izmir but has gone through some changes. Our breeders, being used to Yoz, eliminated the chest rose and shortened the beak over many years.
