| A truly beautiful CD. "Essence" is in a class by itself. Some of the most beautiful, peaceful, timeless music you'll ever hear. This is deep atmospheric heart vibrations. From the beginning to the end, the music on this CD gives the listener some truly unique uplifting music. Of special note is the track "Awakening" which puts the listener into a marvalous timeless state. One gets the feeling they could listen to this forever. A highly recommended CD. |
| Although the second track has a bit too much of Carty's vibrato sound for me, the first and fourth tracks ("Emerging" and Awakening") are quite special. All the tracks have a fairly thick and intense sound, and the finale ("Endlessly") is based around a repeating, elaborate motif similar to that used in his pieces "Heart Waves" and "Love Life," as well as similar to the motif of the previous track. the sounds flow together smoothly and misty-like. This album is a bit shorter than the others (53 minutes), consisting of 5 10-plus minute tracks. --Eric Mystic,DJ Music Programmer |
