This is Jason my 14 year old Percheron Draft Horse. He is a big boy, standing approximately 17.3 hands. He is a very sweet, gentle, intelligent horse. I purchased him in June 2001 & after just several months we have found out a lot about each other. I've learned that I have to be always thinking ahead & he has learned I always have treats!

What a difference a year makes. Jason has thrived and is a beautiful shiny horse now. He and I have come so far from the day I brought him home. He has learned a lot of dressage and I've learned with him. He can shoulder in at a trot, turn on the forehand and bends nicely now. If we could just get some brakes applied so we could stop when I WANT.

What a difference 2 years makes. Thanks to the wonder folks at Fair's Hill Farm in Taneytown Md. I have started to enter Jason in Draft horse shows. Here we are at our first show at the Carroll County Fair.
Here we are with our first ribbon. We came in 4th! Since then we have entered 4 more shows and gotten a ribbon at each one. We've started entering Ladies Carting classes and took 7th place in our first cart class! We also took Reserve Grand Champion at the Frederick County Fair in our Halter Class!
