| This was the gig in the summer of '82 that Blitz was supposed to play but they pulled out coz they feared violence. So the Partisans naievely stepped into the breach. I think it was an experience for everyone, we certainly had fun with the FREE lager. There was a fight with Sid and our Drummer. Louise from the Partisans had a plastic glass bounced off her head. And lastly a big chunk of plaster on the Victorian ceiling of the downstairs bar cracked under the pogoing punks and nearly knocked out an old drunk tee hee! |
