I can't say that today, I have even the slightest plan on where this is going, but what I can say, is that it's going to be long. Having generally crappy days (or nights, by my clock), leads to people wanting to rant. And so that's what I'm going to do. I can think of a few things for you to expect though. Definately some comments on a reply to an e-mail I received. And, to make it all better, I'm introducing something new to this rant. Paragraphing. For the first time in the Dragonball Realm, the endless rants of two teenage girls will have some form of organization. And this one will surprisingly enough deal with Dragonball in part.

First of all, I have had a crappy day/night for one reason. For no reason at all, I was insulted, stereotyped, and thought of as a lowly being in an e-mail. Because I don't want my views to affect any of my readers (like anyone is actually ever going to read this), I won't name the site (I'll refer to it as 'Page X') I got this from. First, I'll give you the background. I was scanning through a section on 'Page X', when I noticed what I thought to be two mistakes. It was in a section that pointed out errors within the continuity of Dragonball. I may be incorrect, but I'm fairly sure that Trunks never named or numbered the androids that tormented him when he first came from the future to warn Goku and the others. 'Page X' stated that Trunks said out front that it was Androids #19 and #20. Although Akira Toriyama had intended this to happen, he only mentioned this in interviews, never within the manga or anime. Because of this, I wrote saying that Trunks had reason to not recognize Android #19, without contradicting himself. Secondly, I am sketchier on this detail, but I'm fairly sure that although more than 2 people can enter the Room of Spirit and Time, there are only enough supplies to last 2 people. The writer of this section on 'Page X', said that it wasn't right when Gotenks, Buu, and Piccolo were all in there together, while I believe it to be fine. Maybe I'm wrong, but I wrote to 'Page X' and told the maintainer of the section what I noticed. My e-mail, although I don't have a copy of it, was polite. I never once criticized his knowledge, and to make it an easy read, I used what I considered to be very good grammer. I kindly pointed out the errors I saw, and thanked the maintainer for taking the time to read the e-mail. What I got in response, was a cruel, stereotypical reply. The maintainer first instantly assumed I was a dubbie because I tried to correct what I knew was wrong. So the e-mail started along the lines of "I hate people like you! You think you know everything about Dragonball, but you don't." It was first stereotyping me into a group I don't belong in. Also, he twisted my words. I had two observations, and he instantly decided that I thought I knew everything about Dragonball. This, in general, just pissed me off. But it got worse. He not only explained why he believed himself to be right, but he also crammed it down my throat, with every other sentance stating why I was so wrong and stupid. I didn't think it could get worse, but he ended the e-mail with "Thanks for wasting my time.". Not only did he insult and stereotype me, but he was just downright rude. I may just be overreacting, but I tend to be like that. I sent him an e-mail explaining how out of hand his reply was, and I'll tell all of you something. If I get another reply to this e-mail, and it is as cruel as the first, I am going to let everyone know what site this came from. If the maintainers are going to be this uncaring, then I'm going to make sure you all know. Feel free to read my reply to his e-mail. I'm sorry, but I deleted the other e-mails that I made references to. Now that that's off my shoulders, I feel a lot better.
