Local History Group
Formed in September 1993,
the Group now has a membership of well over one hundred. Its purpose includes:

To conduct research into the history
of Dawlish and district;
·
To collect and preserve documentary
material relevant to this history and to make these materials available to
researchers;
·
To disseminate information regarding
the history of Dawlish through publication and by giving talks by visiting
speakers and visits to neighbouring places of historical interest;
·
To provide assistance to anyone
interested in making enquires into local and family history.
