| I like the way these place names sound as they roll round my mouth and flip off the tip of my tongue. I suspect that in reality, some of these places aren't as nice as the way they sound, so I have linked each place to it's Wikipedia entry to find out.
Incidentally, I have never been to any of these places except one that I have visited on a number of occasions and two that I have driven through without stopping to get out - see if you can guess where I mean. > Banff (makes me think of a milk float crashing) > Guadalajara > Sligo > Plovdiv > Omsk > Sapporo > Lodz > Glossop > Trondheim > Nijmegen > Malmo > Dusseldorf > Acapulco > Albuquerque > Wyoming > Nuuk > Prenteg (too small a place for an entry on wikipedia) > Seattle > Tulsa This page is dedicated to the late great Douglas Adams, author of (amongst other more famous books) The Meaning of Liff Answer - visited Sligo driven through Glossop and Prenteg |
