| Dave Pearce From Flying Saucer Attack Reviews Himself Flying Saucer Attack was always meant to only be a studio project. I've never thought of FSA in terms of being a live band, and anyone who's seen the handful of shows FSA has done will probably agree it never should be one! Yet I came to play at Terrastock. I didn't come to promote my band, I was there because of my love of the magazine and my belief in the idea the magazine has to continue. I've learnt so much from the Terrascope, and want to be part of the network of people old and new that it has catalysed into bringing together. I got on the plane for Phil and Nick and everyone connected to the magazine, and not to garner a few extra CD sales in the USA. I know that unfortunately the FSA performance wasn't that good, and guess it may damage the band's reputation. But, to all the people spreading bad things about the gig - I simply wasn't there for you. I was there for the Terrascope. I can't forsee any future situation that will persuade me back on the stage again - but I'm really grateful to have been given a chance to experience the wholly wonderful weekend that was Terrastock; and hopefully contributed something to it!
