Samuel Bolin Dies After Long Illness - March 11, 1940
Samuel Bolin, age 92, died after a prolonged illness at his home in Alexander twp., four
miles east of Albany, Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Mr. bolin, a retired farmer,
was a native of Alexander Township and spent all his life there.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Herbert Bolin, The Plains, and Clarence Bolin,
Albany; and three daughters, Mrs. Estela Carliton and Mrs. Lydia Phelps, both of Shade and
Mrs. Bessie Hahn, Athens.
Funeral services will be held at the Pleasant Valley Church, Alexander Township, at two
o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be in the Haning cemetery.
