Synopsis In this gleefully gruesome musical, Seymour, a poor florist's assistant, allows his craving for fame and fortune and his love for a girl, to seduce him into playing nursemaid to a man-eating plant. It all starts during a total eclipse of the sun, when Seymour discovers a plant from outer space in the wholesale flower district - a plant who grows by eating a secret formula that's not too hard to come by... fresh blood! Murder, mayhem follow, as the plant embarks on a mission to take over the whole world!
