Hickey Facts
Noah started his career with New Zealand's  most prolific team, Central United.
- FIFA's Technical Director of Coaching in the Oceania Confederation, Kevin Fallon, praised Hickey.
- Hickey  made 31 senior appearances for New Zealnad.
Hickey was the 1997 New Zealand Young Player of the Year.
He can play as  a sweeper, wing-back, wide midfielder or striker.
He joined New Zealand's first professional team, Kingz FC.
- Noah's career suffered several setbacks, with many injuries.
Hickey  featured heavily in the 2003 Confederations Cup in France for his country, yet it was to no avail.

- His Confederations Cup performance, coupled with a 1-1 friendly against Scotland, has helped to bring to the attention of the Brits. Trials with Watford and Northampton followed.
- He was one of the most respected New Zealand internationals.
- Noah is also famous for another reason: he missed an open goal.  Unbelievable, but so typical of Noah, he had a laugh about it afterwards.
- Hickey appeared on realiy show 'City Celebrity Country Nobody' in New Zealand, an also presented a children's TV show on NZ Sky Sports.
