
PC TERMINAL MODE ESCAPE CODES

(If you use PC Terminal mode, you can program Function keys to output
the following escape sequences to access additional functionality in
KeyZ.)

Toggle backlight on/off:                ESC x I
Turn KeyZ off                           ESC x o
Turn Pilot off                          ESC x O

Select next character to the left       ESC s l
Select next character to the right      ESC s r
Select additional line (previous line)  ESC s u
Select additional line (next line)      ESC s d
Select next word to the left            ESC s p
Select next word to the right           ESC s n

Move back one word                      ESC x w
Move forward one word                   ESC x r
Previous field                          ESC x f
Next field                              ESC x F
Beginning of line                       ESC x a
End of line                             ESC x e

Activate menu command corresponding to <key>            ESC m <key>
Push a button whose label starts with <key>             ESC b <key>
Push "Ok" or "Done" button                              ESC B d
Launch a built-in app: 1 = calendar, 2 = phone #'s,     ESC A <num>
 3 = Todo list, 4 = Memos, 5 = Calculator, 6 = Find,
 7-9 = custom

(Japanese OS only) enter kana           ESC x k
Same as pressing up button on Pilot     ESC x U
Same as pressing down button on Pilot   ESC x D
Copy                                    ESC x x
Cut                                     ESC x c

Special symbols are just "ESC y *" where * is the character you would
press in conjuncation with the Option key on the Newton keyboard.
