Sports, Recreation and Entertainment

Though not endowed with natural coastal waters and hot springs, Dasmariñas has fast become a swimming center with the establishment of swimming resorts such as Volet's Resort, Four Step Resort, Swiss Resort, Blue Hawaii Resort, Manits Resort, Villa Isabel Resort, Blumen Resort, Double 7 Resort, Double V Resort, Riverside and many others.

The Arcontica Sports Center provides facilities for basketball, tennis and volleyball. The ManuelaVille Gymnasium and the De La Salle University Gym also offers sports facilities. Numerous billiards sports center are also located in different places in the town. The CM Plaza has also different sports facilities such as bowling, billiards, etc. Different avenues are also lined with discos and bars.

Dasmariñas is also a fast-becoming "Cultural Center" in the province of Cavite. Different shows are held almost every week which showcases the talents the Dasmarineños has to offer. Tuklas Gintong Tinig and Tuklas Husay Sayaw are among these shows. The pageants Ginoo & Binibining Dasmariñas and Mutya ng Dasmariñas chooses the best representative/model citizen of the town,with brains, good looks and good personality. This future city also boasts of (probably) the Philippines' best marching band, the Citizen's Brigade Band of Dasmariñas, which has been a consistent winner in different band competitions such as the Manila Marching Band Competition. The band, Music Foundation of Dasmariñas, a newly established band, also has a very big potential following the footsteps of CBBD.
 

Places of Interest

There are many interesting places here in Dasmariñas. You may take a walk at the beautiful and historic town plaza. The Orchard Golf and Country Club,a world-class golf club,is a haven for golf enthusiasts. A dive at the different resorts is also soothing and relaxing.

The Museo de La Salle, located inside the De La Salle University Campus, is considered as one of the best tourist destination not only here in Cavite, but also in our country. This early 19th century "Bahay na Bato"/Stone house showcases grandiose of the early illustrado families. Different antique collections can be found here.
