Transportation
Considering the actual situation and geographic location of Dasmariñas,
we shall focus on land based mode-the municipality's road network.
The town is reached from Manila through the Emilio Aguinaldo Highway
from the north. THe same highway links Dasmariñas to Tagaytay City to
the south. Another major highway is the Carmona-Ternate road passing
along PalaPala and Langkaan.
Other major road links are:
1. Salitran-Molino road going to Bacoor and Zapote
2. Sabang-Imus road going to Binakayan
3. Amuntay-Puerto Azul road going to Governor's Drive
As to internal linkages, the roads providing mobility and access within
the municipality are barangay, municipal and provincial roads.
In few years, the LRT 1(Light Rail Transit) will be available to
commuters in Dasmariñas. This is believed to cut the travel time to
Manila in a metter of minutes and will also provide much comfort/convinience
and will also boost more economic development in this future city. The
transit would be in full operation in the future.
