TITLE: Never Ape An Ape Man

Matter of fact Carl is on the set with the main actress Candy. (another Possible Enemy Foreshadowing). Anyhow during the shoot on a bridge, the ape man gets a little physical causing Candy to almost fall off the bridge. Scooby runs out to confront the apeman and gets a few shots in.
Candy quits the shoot until the ape man is caught. The gang agree to help Marshall out to find the ape man so he can continue his film. The gang find the stunt guy Carl in a box in a trailer. He claims that he was thrown in there by an ape man.
Well the gang investigates and come across the ape man a few times as well as a couple of clues. One leads them to a door which leads to one of the actor's trailers. Finally, Shaggy is able to take a snap shot of the ape man without his mask. He runs out to the gang with Scooby. The ape man chases the gang until Freddy throws the switch on some stairs that flatten. The ape man falls down the flat stairs and gets tangled up in junk. Shaggy shows them the picture and the gang unmask him to reveal...(click and scroll over below with your mouse if you don't mind spoilers)
The culprit is Carl because he was disgruntled about not being cast as the lead actor.
Now its time to hand out the awards for this episode...
2.) Character That Goes Up You Sideways Award: I have to go with Scooby on this one. For some reason he really pissed me off. At first he isn't afraid of the apeman then changes in the middle demanding scooby snacks to lure the apeman out. Make up your f*cking mind Scoob, are you a p*ssy or not?
3.) What The F*ck Are You Doing Here Award: no celebs in this episode
4.) Stupid Idea That Never Works Award: "See that pulley, the nets connected to the rope, the rope runs down to the reel, and the reel is wired to that dark switch box which you (Velma) will pull to release the net." Yeah Freddy came up with this b*llshit. Supposedly the ape man was supposed to be lured to an "X" on the floor by Shaggy and Scooby. When he was on the "X" Freddy and Daphne would turn on a studio spotlight to blind the ape man so the net could fall on him. Of corse none of this crap works and Shaggy gets caught in the net.
DarkSider Suggestion: How about a big yellow banana or the Empire State building instead of the "X"?
5.) Most Unfunny Line Of The Show: "Give me liberty or give me pizza pie", Shaggy while wearing a colonial wig.
