| Charles W. Holcombe ran a general store out of his home in Wertsville. In 1865 he sold the store and his home to Peter Van Dyke Manners, son of Jacob S. Manners. Holcombe; b. 15 Nov 1847; m. Edgar Blackwell (1 Oct 1846 - 7 Jan 1884). She resided at Clover Hill, New Jersey. Charles Wesley Holcombe; b. 8 Jan 1850; m. Mary J. Suydam.
