1974 - 2002
She was a woman of such energy and warmth with a real lust for life. I was lucky to spend 2 years with her and have her share one of my most memorable experiences cycling to India in 1995-96. Even before her illness she had taught me to question my priorities and seize opportunities in life. Her untimely death only reinforces the importance of this for all of us. It was some comfort to know that Steph had always lived to her philosophy and as she neared the end she told me that she had no regrets.
Thoughts go to her mother Maria, brother Alex and boyfriend David who provided her with love and strength throughout her illness.
