Columns on each of the Children's List pages show the following information. Columns for the Cross Reference table follow the format of the main lists and are very similar, except that the Reference to the case numbers is given first, followed by any Origin Code, then the Fate Code.

- Fate : Code letter to indicate what happened to the individual.
          R : Returned to Czechoslovakia
          N or NAT : Naturalised as a British Subject
          E : Emigrated. Ususally with digit (2 or 3) for additional meaning
          C or RC : Registration Cancelled
          BM : Became British by marriage
          CM : Became Canadian by marriage
          + : Deceased
- Case Number : Relatives sometimes had entries under the same case number, but with an individual identifying letter. Usually these are allocated their own number close by in the sequence.
- Origin Code. Sometimes a handwritten letter code is added to show where the individual came from.
          C : Czech
          A : Austrian
          G : German
          S : ?Sudeten?
          P : ?Polish?
          SL : ?Slovak?
- Surname.
- First name(s).
- Date of Birth.
- Military service unit indicator or other information.
          CA : Czechoslovak Army? (the Czechoslovak Brigade)
          BA : British Army?
          ATS : Auxiliary Territorial Service (women)
          RAF : Royal Air Force
          WAAF : Women’s Auxiliary Air Force
          CAAF : Czechoslovak Squadrons in the RAF?
          RN : Royal Navy
          WRNS : Women’s Royal Naval Service
- Date of Fate and other details.
