| Having started out with his hometown team of Mias Gerais, Evaldo earned a move to one of Brazil's top club Atlético Paranaense in 2001, where he stayed for only one full season before fulfilling his dream of a move to European football, signing for Porto. The left back, although a promising talent, spent most of his time in the B team, but he make 2 appearances last season, picking up a Championship medal as well. Evaldo signed for Marítimo this summer as part of the transfer that saw Pepe go the other way. |
