| Tim Smith- guitarist and bassist with Sheryl started playing music professionally at 18 years old with the power pop, early MTV faves the Producers. After 2 recordings, Tim began an acoustic duo in Atlanta,Georgia(his home base) called Thing1,Thing2, which in turn became indie popsters, the Umajets . Tim also was a member of the San Francisco band Jellyfish, and recorded their last record-Spilt Milk as bass player and vocalist. As a member of Sheryl's band since 1996, Tim has worked with Sheryl on the Globe Sessions, as well as her Stevie Nicks produced tracks, the soundtrack to the movie Dil Scallion, and the remake of Guns and Roses' Sweet Child 'O Mine. An Aquarian, Tim enjoys time off with his wife and 2 children at remote Mayan ruins deep within the Belize jungles |
