Harry snickered at Hermione's nervous edginess, as Ron toyed incessantly with the reading light, listening programme controls, and flight attendant call button. Only ten minutes after they'd boarded, the flight attendants had already learned to ignore Ron's call.
"We're going to America!" shouted Ron joyously, at no one in particular.
"I should hope so, dear," replied his seat-mate, an indulgent-looking elderly Muggle woman.
Hermione caught Harry's eye, then, and proceeded to crack up.
