Loving Him
PROLOGUE
Naaz looked at the beautiful sight from the marble balcony and sighed deeply. It was so beautiful…every thing was beautiful about it. The lake was a mixture of a navy blue and a dark violet with the sun shining into it. The trees near the lake swung happily with the wind, whispering a secret that she longed to hear. The wind blew into her long auburn hair blowing it out of her face and over her bare shoulders.
“Like it?” asked a deep mellow voice.
“Love it.” She said, turning, causing her hair to whip around with her.
The man behind her drew in a sharp breath, his brown eyes gleaming with lust and somehow love that she recognized.
He walked up to her and put his long slender fingers on her shoulders causing her to look closely at his handsome chiseled face and his intense, hazy eyes.
“Kiss me…” He whispered.
“You know we can’t do this…” she murmured weakly in protest. They both knew that she wanted to kiss him as much as he wanted to kiss her…
So he leaned in, ignoring her protests, cupping her face in his hands and tasted her lips, her hair softly caressing his face…
“And CUT! Brilliant! Same time tomorrow people!”
The couple on the balcony broke apart, almost as if nothing had happened, gave each other a congratulatory smile and walked in different directions stepping over cables and wires that were not even ten meters away from the scene of the steamy kiss.
Johnny Depp and Nikita Gill took the parts of Luke and Naaz, an interracial couple in love and how society won’t let them be because he was so much older than her and add to that he was white while she was Indian.
Their director watched them with interest. They were now laughing and talking animatedly to their dress coordinators with ease and comfort. She was wearing a long white dress that accentuated her curves and the light brown of her skin and her hazel eyes shone in the sunlight.
So far their chemistry was great. But being good fun people they could act with pretty much anyone thought their director James Cameron. They were very easy to work with, always taking critism in their stride and ready to learn new things.
Off screen, Nikita treated Johnny like her mentor. She looked up to him and worshipped his acting skills, however nothing more than that.
Johnny he knew was always a great choice.
But it was Nikita’s second movie and he had been slightly worried as to how she would cope. But being an exemplary actress her skills only matched her beauty. He could only congratulate himself on such a brilliant choice.
Interestingly, a beautiful girl like Nikita wasn’t involved with anyone at the moment…
And James like many others, wondered why?
