Chapter 6
How it Feels
2002-New Zealand

After I had gotten completely ready I went into the kitchen where I found Elijah eating a bagel, and sitting on coffee. "God that girl is the slowest person I've ever met." Elijah mumbled as he checked his watch. "Are you ready YET?" he yelled. "Yea, I think so." I said. He jumped spilling coffee on his shirt. "Damn it Tiff! Don't scare me like that! I've just spilled all over myself." He said. I laughed. "It looks lovely, let's go!" I said. He gave me a glare and walked out to the car. I got into the passenger side, and he drove to the set. When he parked I was suddenly surrounded by Haylee and Liv. "Hello girls, nice to see you this morning, again." Elijah said. "Elijah, love the stain, is it your new trade mark?" Liv asked. He turned around and mumbled all the way to his trailer. "I scared him, he spilled. He's so grouchy when he's tired." I said. "Aren't we all?" Dom asked. "You grouchy, I can't picture it." I said. "Oh, it happens, and he is not a fun grouch either." Liv said. I laughed. "You know from experience?" I asked. "Not that kind of experience, DEAR, but you shouldn't be talking." She said. I laughed. "I swear! It wasn't like that, it was a harmless night of watching movies." I said. "Sure it was." She said. "What are we talking about?" Orli asked. "They are reading into our night last night." I said. "Oh, no need to read into it. I shagged her till the wee hours of the morning, and had her praising my mum for having me, that's all." Orli said. I hit him playfully. "You little whore, you wish." I said. "Oh good lord, Orli you're officially a whore." Haylee said. I laughed. "See what you've gone and done?" I said. Dom looked at Orli with interest. "Play you're cards right, and I see a good shag in your future Bloom." Dom said. I looked at him. "Don't you guys have filming or something? Or am I just under the impression you work?" I asked. Liv laughed. "No they have work, or something. So bugger off, both of you. Go bother Elijah, he's in a good mood." She said. They both walked off.

"So lets go get some coffee." Liv said. "Thank god, I'm dying here." Haylee said. I smiled, and followed the two girls into a trailer. "Girls! I'd like you to meet the newest girl in town, Tiffany Haywood, Elijah's sister, and Orli's new girl." Liv said. "Whoa, Dom and I aren't, together, we just dated once." I said. "This is Ellen, and Beth, they're here for just random reasons." Liv said. "I really mean it, Orli and I aren't dating." I said. She nodded. "If you say so." She said skeptically. "Please don't read to much into this. I don't want Orlando to get hurt." I said. She looked at me seriousally. "We'll talk later." She said. I nodded. We all sat and had coffee, and talked about whatever came up, including the best places to shop and the greatest party places. "Well, it's about time for this little party to end. We have shooting soon." Liv said. Beth and Ellen nodded." We all stood up. "Well, have a good day, nice to meet you both. Liv I'll talk to you later." I said. She nodded, and I left.

I walked around till I got to Elijah's trailer, and I walked in. "Morning Lij." I said. He was just leaving. "Hey hun, gotta go shoot. Sleep, watch TV, make yourself at home. I'll be back later." He said running out the door. He slammed it shut. "Bye." I mumbled. I layed down on the little couch, and fell asleep. I woke up in a cold sweat after having a horrible dream about that night. I saw Orlando sitting with me looking worried at me. "Are you ok Tiff? You don't look well." He said. "Yes, I mean, no, I'm not. I'm sorry I have to go. Tell Elijah I love him." I said. I stood up, and I left. I just ran out as fast as I can. I got outside the studio, and caught a taxi, and had him take me to the airport.

"Oh fucking shit!" Orlando yelled as watched the taxi drive away. He made a dead run to the studio where Elijah was filming. He burst in. "ELIJAH!" He yelled. Peter looked at him like he was insane. "ARE YOU MAD ORLANDO? We're filming!" He said. "No, I need to speak with Elijah it's urgent." He said. Elijah came over. "What's going on? Are you OK?" Elijah asked. "Yes, it's not me. It's your sister." He said. "What the hell is wrong with her?" Elijah asked panicked. "I don't know, I came in and she was freaking out in her sleep, then she woke up, and looked like she was going to be sick, then she just bolted, told me to tell you she loved you and just left." Orlando said gasping for air. Elijah ran out of the studio and Orlando followed. They both got in his car and drove to the road. "Where would she be going?" Orlando asked. "To the airport. She's going to go home." Elijah said. They drove to the airport as fast as they could. Elijah was in his hobbit clothes, but he didn't care, he went up to the desk. "I need you to page a Tiffany Haywood. Say it's urgent." He said. They nodded and did just that. Nothing happened. "Where do you sell your tickets?" He asked. She pointed to a long line. They ran over, and saw Tiffany waiting looking rather sick. Elijah ran up to her. "You can't go. Tiff, talk to me about this." He said. I didn't look over. "Tiff, look at me, you need to talk to me about this." He said. I still didn't look over. He pulled me out of the line. I had tears falling, and I couldn't bare to look at him. "Tiffany, look at me." He said. He turned my face towards him. "What happened? What's wrong?" He asked. "I have to leave." I said. "Why? What did you dream?" He asked. "I saw you, and Orlando, there. He killed you. I can't, I can't ever see that again. I have to leave." I said. He hugged me. "I promise you, I'm never going anywhere." He whispered. "You can't promise that. You don't know." I said. "If by my life or death I can keep this promise, I will." He said. I looked at him. "OK Aragorn." I said. He laughed, and kissed my cheek. "I love you, don't ever scare me like that again." He said. I nodded. I looked over at Orlando. "We need to talk." I said. He nodded. "Wait till we get back to the set, Elijah you've got to get back." He said. Elijah nodded.

We all got in the car, and drove back to the set. Elijah gave me one last hug, and promised to be back as soon as possible. Then he went back to the studio. "What did you need to talk about?" Orlando asked walking into Elijah's trailer with me. "There can't be anything more between us. I'm too much of a mess. You don't need me around to add drama to your life. Please, lets just be friends." I said. My eyes started to tear up. That was the last thing I wanted with Orlando, but I knew it was the right thing to do. He looked at me. "No." He said. "No what?" I asked. "No, I'm not just going to let you give up on this." He said. "I'm not giving up. I'm helping you out." I said. "You can't tell me that you don't feel something for me, I can see it in your eyes. You feel the same way I do." He said. "No I don't." I said. "Look me in the eyes, and say that." He said. I looked up at him. "I, I don't feel anything for you." I said. I started to cry. "I'm sorry." I said as I left.

I walked out of the trailer, and ran into Liv. "What's wrong Tiff?" She asked. "Nothing, I'm going back to Elijah's place." I said. I hailed a taxi, and left. Orlando walked out of the trailer. "Orlando, what's going on? Why are you crying?" She asked coming up to him. "I haven't known her for very long, I know, but I love her. She just told me that we can't be together." He said. "What? Damn that girl is dramatic." Liv said. "She is not." Orlando said. "I'll get this straightened up." Liv said hugging him. She got in her car, and drove to Elijah's place. She got out, and went up to his apartment, and knocked on the door. I whipped the tears as I opened the door. "Yes?" I asked. I saw Liv, and let her in. "What are you doing? Do you always purposely ruin good relationships?" She asked. "It was never a relationship. It's for the best." I said. "How is it for the best? Why is you and Orlando both being miserable for the best?" She asked. "Because there's too much drama with me, he doesn't need it, and I don't need one more person to love." I said. She looked confused. "What do you mean?" She asked. "I loved my mom, she was one of the only person I loved besides Elijah's family. When I lost her it was so horrible. I don't want to love another person because I just can't handle that again." I said. She hugged me. "Hun, people leave, it just happens, but you're never going to be happy in life if you don't give your heart out and love. I can see in your eyes you really care for Orlando, if you don't try things with him, wont it be just as good as loosing him?" She asked. I looked at her. "Yes." I said. "So what are you doing?" She asked. "Going to talk to Orlando?" I asked. She nodded. "You're damn right you are!" She said pushing me out the door
