Elijah and Crystal were the perfect couple. They did everything together. For the next two months Crystal had never felt so loved. They even had their picture taken and wallet sizes made to hand out. Elijah gave one to everyone of his friends, and Crystal’s family all had gotten some. To the world they looked the perfect couple. Lately though Elijah had become a little distant. He would space out, or forget to call her. Crystal just thought he was stressed about not making a movie. Things changed dramatically one night. Elijah and Crystal were making out at his apartment on his bed. Crystal’s leg was propped on pillows and Elijah was rubbing her tummy and kissing her neck.

"I love you. I really do." Elijah said between kisses. Crystal never let him go any farther then necking on the bed. Crystal made a noise deep in her throat and stretched. Her hand slid under the pillows and she felt something. She pulled it out and held it up behind Elijah’s head. It was a pair of female panties. They were a very pretty thong with pink flowers. More importantly they weren’t Crystal’s. She shoved Elijah off her.

"Elijah! What the hell are these? Rather who the hell are these?" Crystal said a little to loudly.

"Mm?" Elijah was still caught in the moment and didn’t quiet understand.

"Girls underwear?" Crystal asked.

"Oh those? I…ugh…" Elijah was trying to think fast. "I got them for you."

"Oh yeah? I bet. What’s this a size two?" Crystal was larger then that. "Hoping I would lose weight before you gave them to me?"

"Well, I…uh…No I got the wrong size?" He asked.

"The hell you did! Whose are these." Crystal was trying very hard not to cry. Elijah didn’t know what else to say so he told her the truth.

"Liv’s. There Liv’s." He said quietly.

"Liv’s? As in Liv from Lord of the Rings?" Crystal couldn’t believe this. He just told her that he loved her and now he was telling her that he was cheating on her.

"Yeah. We used to, well we, uh." He stuttered trying to find the right words.

"You slept with her, fucked her, were intimate?" Crystal spat the words at him.

"Yeah." Elijah said quietly, "I broke it off when I met you. We weren’t anything. Liv and I were just friends. Friends that…uh…helped each other."

"Helped each other?" Crystal couldn’t believe this. She pushed herself off his bed, grabbed her crutches and stood. "Oh you mean you were fuck buddies? And now? Still seeing her?"

"No!" Elijah’s world was falling apart. "I told her I loved you and we couldn’t see each other anymore."

"What about the underwear?" Crystal didn’t believe him.

"I kept them. Because we didn’t…I used them to…" Elijah did not want to tell her that.

"You mast…Never mind it doesn’t matter." Crystal grabbed her purse and looked at him. "I can’t believe you did that and thought about her while you were with me. Take me home, I’m done, I don’t want to hear anymore."

"Crystal she doesn’t mean anything to me." Elijah felt tears welling up in his eyes.

"Yeah right, if that was true you wouldn’t need these." She threw the underwear at him. "Fuck it. Stay here I’ll walk." Crystal walked out of the house. Elijah followed her.

"CRYSTAL! Wait we can work this out." He yelled loudly.

"No, we can’t. I can’t. I believe you still want her. At least some of you does. Stay there don’t follow me." Crystal hobbled on her crutches around the block. Elijah lived twenty minutes away from her house. She pulled out her cell phone and called Janna. She got voice mail. Crystal cursed and hung up. "Now what?" She started crying as her phone rang. It was Elijah. She picked up the phone and said, "Fuck you," and hung up. She looked down at her cast and saw Billy’s number. Billy would understand. His girlfriend had been cheating on him for the last month. They had just broke up. Crystal fought the urge to vomit. Well maybe Billy’s girlfriend and Elijah should hook up. She dialed Billy’s number and it rang four times before he answered. By this time Crystal was sobbing loudly.

"Hello?"

"Billy…I….He….Liv…" Crystal cried.

"Shit. How did you find out?" Billy asked.

"You knew? You knew!" Crystal couldn’t believe it.

"They broke it off when he started dating you." Billy said.

"He still has her underwear. He gets off with them. He said it was because we didn’t sleep together." Crystal realized she told Billy that her and Elijah hadn’t slept together and that Elijah got off on Liv’s underwear and she laughed through her tears.

"I’m sorry." Billy was truly sorry. He knew Elijah liked sex. Addicted to it was more like it. Who knows how many women he had been with before he met Crystal.

"Billy I need a favor." Crystal sighed.

"Anything."

"Come get me. I’m around the corner from Elijah’s house. I can’t walk home." Crystal said.

"I’ll be there in five minutes." Billy said and hung up the phone.
