The Story of CoW mAn
I got a plush cow for my 15th Birthday at the beginning of the day so I had to carry it around with me because my birthday is in September and lockers hadn't been assigned yet. My Drama class named him Winkie. My girlfriend at the time wanted to call him Heffer. So his name was Winkie. We broke up later (for different reasons). Later, I won another stuffed cow at the Fair. I named this one Heffer. So we figured my cows were dating. But we didn't know if Heffer was a girl's name or a boy's. So I didn't know if my cows were gay or not. Turns out a Heffer is a female cow. I went to a Halloween Dance as a cow...this guy followed me around the whole time yelling "Get your 2%!" but I got my revenge...The next week I was in the halloween fashion show as a cow and I gave out cartons of 2% milk and won Funniest Costume. I later gave my stuffed cows away to these foreign exchange students I was teaching from Korea. So I was cow-less for a time, during which I got my e-mail account [email protected]
and began using CoW mAn as my handle and username all over the place. Over the summer I started this website, MaDd CoW lAnD with my friend Dark Enigma. For more about the website, go here. Since then, both my collection of cows and my association with cows has grown. Keep in mind I rarely see any REAL cows.
The Inside Story
Okay people, it was a gimmick. I don't really have a thing for cows. You want to know the REAL reason this all started? An ex of mine said she liked cows so I did this to try and get her attention. It failed misarably but what it did do was get me a fair bit of attention as well it made me easier to remember. They say if you have something to associate with someone you are more likely to remember them. So yes, it's a cute theme but seriosuly folks, I don't really have quite the cow fetish some of you seem to think I have so enough with the cow gifts already!
