Above: a modified Austin 7 chassis providing the basis for a lot of fun at Historic Winton 2000. Built by the present owner from a pile of parts the unique body style is a refreshing change from the boat tail.
Left: Alternative power for an Austin 7 was not uncommon in the halcyon days of motor racing, but is not a style often seen in the pits of todays historic racing. At least this competitor has no worries with bugs in the radiator!
Below; The car park and pit crew areas are always as good a place as the race track to spot some exotic iron. A Cadillac serves as tow vehicle for some motor cycle racers' prized machinery.
