A close inspection of the photo at left will reveal some unusual geometry at the front axle. The Big Seven unit is mounted ahead of the axle and an extra stabiliser runs from the top of the king pin mount to a point mid way along the radius arm - just visible at the body line.

The car also runs on 18 inch wheels (only fitted to rear here) to comply with Australian racing regs for the vintage class and has a tubular custom built chassis.
