Above; The people's choice on race day! This vehicle proved so much fun that the owner has recently completed a second Austin7 - A bright yellow 1927 "Chummy" tourer. Being almost standard the acceleration isn't what one would call neck snapping but the light weight body ensures a better speed . Note the size of the fuel filler for a fast "splash and dash during pit stops. (not that extra fuel is likely to be neeeded, with the Austin's miserly consumption) Right;A view of the cockpit - strictly business in here... note the chassis rails and every piece of metal has been bored to save weight. |
