Above;The people's choice on race day! This vehicle proved so much fun that the owner has recently completed a second Austin7 - A bright yellow 1927 "Chummy" tourer.
Being almost standard the acceleration isn't what one would call neck snapping but the light weight body ensures a better speed .
Note the size of the fuel filler for a fast "splash and dash during pit stops.
(not that extra fuel is likely to be neeeded, with the Austin's miserly consumption)
Right;A view of the cockpit - strictly business in here... note the chassis rails and every piece of metal has been bored to save weight.
On it's maiden outing July 2000, it's hard to beleive this pretty little MG styled Austin 7 once resided in a chook house.
