Above; Albert Park, Melbourne 2000 at the Australia day celebrations. What better way to celebrate than bring out your 1932 Austin 7 tourer to rub shoulders with a couple of hundred other fine aged vehicles of distinction and an equally fine crowd.
Lord Herbert would be proud.
Built as an everyday work ute, this vehicle sees a lot of Victorian roads. Consisting of mostly vintage parts on a Ruby chassis, to give at least a mediocre load capacity, this superbly engineered 7 is seen here at the Austin 7 Club's Annual Rally. The destination on this occasion being RAAF's Pt. Cook Aircraft Museum, Victoria.
