Commentary: Four new adds including- for the first time since May 24- a new add at No. 1. The All-American Rejects' catchy and invigorating "Move Along" debuts at the top spot replacing The Never Ending White Lights with "The Grace", which drops to No. 2. Justin Timberlake's brand new single- the very slick "Sexy Back" featuring Timbaland- drops in at No. 10, while Weird Al Yankovic's hilarious "You're Pitiful" comes in at No. 22. Emily Haynes' new solo project, the peacefully haunting "Doctor Blind", rounds out the new adds at No. 56.
As far as other notable moves, The Never Ending White Lights' "Angels & Saints", the follow-up to "The Grace" barrels its way into the Top 20 this week with a 36-spot jump from 54 to 18 and the eerie epic should make a run at the top spot in the coming weeks. AFI's "Love Like Winter" gives decemberunderground its second-straight Top 10- a statement to how improved "decemberunderground" was to its predecessor- while KT Tunstall and Rascal Flatts manage to successfully follow-up huge lead singles with two new entrants into the Top 20 with "Suddenly I See" and "Me And My Gang", respectively. Rounding out the new entrants into the Top 20 is Dragonforce, whose seven-minute progressive metal masterpiece in "Through The Fire And Flames" is quickly turning into one of 2006's best singles, with Keane and Utada Hikaru threatening for Top 20 positions themselves with "Is It Any Wonder?" and "Keep Tryin'" respectively.
That's the chart. See you in two weeks.
