Commentary: This week can be pretty much described as "old-timer's week", where I've finally gotten around to adding songs to the chart that should have been there ages ago.

Leading off is The Never-Ending White Lights, whose song "The Grace" with Alexisonfire's Dallas Green is the runaway for the most moving rock epic of the year. Green- showing that he can actually sing as opposed to screamer George Petit- is fabulous in a guest vocal role, adding an element of surrealism to the enchanting track. Next up is Death Cab For Cutie's "Crooked Teeth", the best- and catchiest- song off Death Cab For Cutie's major label debut "Plans". I would have gotten around to "Crooked Teeth" earlier but I never realized it was a single until now- that, and when I kept hearing it on the radio I only heard snippets. Don't know why I forgot, but I'm happy I got around to it now.

Other new adds are Imogen Heap's enchanting and quirky "Goodnight And Go" and Katatonia's "Deliberation", a haunting but riveting metal song that was surprisingly featured on the indie-cult show "The Wedge". It's surreal, yes, but it did seem out of place- it's still a great song though, and should be a staple here for several weeks.

That's the chart. See you in two weeks.
