The Anti-Spotlight
Well, you could probably see this one coming too: with a Song Spotlight on a potential chart breaker, I offer a page devoted to describing the worst song- or songs- on the radio. This is where I get my club and bash these records good, hoping the radios will follow suit and NEVER PLAY THESE SUCKERS AGAIN!!!
DJ Encore- Stay
You've heard this dance song...a million times before. Maybe this DJ should TRY next time out...
Flash Rider- Attenzione!
Goodness was this horrible...this dance crap sounds like someone scratching their nails against chalkboard, complete with more thumping than I can take in an entire lifetime. Just like The Cheeky Girls, PBT, K.I.L.L. and The Calling, this isn't music, it's a travesty.
504 Boys- Get Back
I liked this song better when it was Ludacris' "Move B****"...no, wait, I hated that one too. This one gets docked an extra point for the line, "leggo my Eggo/I put you in the blender". *sigh*
Hed P.E.- Blackout
Ack! More Papa Roach wannabes crying about how much their loner lives stink! Get over it please, I don't want to hear it.
Sworn Enemy- (Self-titled)
"I hope you meet your maker and I won't think twice." The only thing more moronic than the gratitous, Slipknot-type yelling is their moronic, cliched lyrics.
TLC- Hands Up
TLC's lyrics have always been childish, but what made them enjoyable was the fact that they put them behind cheeky dance numbers. Put them on a sultry dance/ballad and you get a stinker that nothing can save.
Boys Night Out- Where We Breathe
In order of wannabes appearing in the same song: Papa Roach, Slipknot and Weezer, none of them fitting together.
The Coral- Skeleton Key
I think these rockers forgot to read my memo stating that Slipknot and Supergrass, both horrible on their own, DON'T go well together...
