| USA Gasoline- Page 1 of 2 |

USA is involved primarily in marketing of fuel and convenience store merchandise. They operate about 315 stations throughout the country, with a high concentration on the west coast. They also own a refinery in Wilmington, CA which is no longer operational. The typical method of operation seems to be to run the gas at a discount or a mid-price, but sell cigarettes very cheaply. They were one of the last places around to install pay-at-the-pump but when they did it, they did install it at all of their stations. But with the 48 or so former Beacon Stations they bought, many of those did not offer pay-at-the-pump, so they have some work to do again. |

East Plumb Lane at Harvard Way; Reno, NV. September 2003. This station started as a Gull U-Serve in the late 1970's, then became USA, then in the late 1980's became an Arco for a very brief period of time, then became an Exxon, then became USA again in the mid 1990's. This station is now a Winners Corner Gasoline. Good shot of the side of this station. Notice that trash can with the USA logo toward the center of the photo. |

| September 2003. Plumb/Harvard, Reno. View of station with sign and canopy. The area between the pumps is where you pay. These guys take "mini" to a new extreme calling that a "mini mart." |

October 2003. Main Street at West Street; Woodland, CA. A former Beacon Station which has received a real great conversion. Install metal over the former Beacon letteirng and put USA letters up, and then off to the left of that, just put a piece of metal over the old Ultramar bird. The price sign is also in the Beacon format, except for the portion that says USA Gasoline. At least USA put their own colors on the gas pumps. |
