This is the package format that was used prior to the mid 1990's. A few of the items in this format are still sold at Eagle in IL, and this package format was found at Lucky, Gemco, Kash N Karry, etc. in the 1980's when Lucky owned those chains.
Bag from the mid 1990's. Albertsons continues to use Max Pak program, on a small scale, but only in ex-Lucky regions. In original Albertsons regions, large size items are refered to as "Family Pack" or "Bonus Buy Size" or "Plus Paxx." Notice the Spanish item description on the unsalted crackers. I didn't see many of their products with the writing in Spanish; I think it was something they must have tried during the mid 1990's and it was never expanded.
