Travelling west from Haverfordwest on the A487, towards St Davids and about 5 miles after Newgale you will pass through this pretty little village. There are not many shops, just a few selling crafts and souvenirs, but it is worth stopping to see the natural harbour (better at high tide) There is a car park on the harbour with a nice pub if you need to quench you thirst. There are also some nice walks over the headland to the open sea. |
The few shops in Solva. The blue building on the right in the background is very popular for Welsh gifts. |
