Langland Bay is one of the more popular beaches on the Gower and can become crowded during the summer weekends, (although I prefer Caswell Bay). It has a wide sandy beaches great for the kids with their bucket and spade.
It is also popular with surfers.The beach is backed by a row of beach huts and a large 19th century mansion type building which was at one time a private retreat for a wealthy businessman,then became an hotel and is now a convalescent home.
There is a beach side cafe, and there are toilets nearby. |
