Scarborough Faire
Below are pictures from a church group trip to Scarborough Faire.  We had an awesome time and loved going in costume!
Here I am in my new dress!  I modeled this dress after the White Dress of Eowyn from Lord of the Rings.  Since I am so pale and wash out when I wear white, I went with a blue color.  I used the pattern Butterick 3552, view B.  The only thing that had to be changed was the collar.  Instead of a straight neck I used a V neck.  I also had the help of three lovely people in the process of making this dress.  Thanks to Jennie for taking the time to cut all the pieces out with me!  Thanks to Dale for all her time spent sewing the dress itself!  And thanks especially to my Mom who graciously sewed by hand all the gorgeous trim onto my dress when I was stuck doing homework!  You're all lifesavers!
We're ready!  Scarborough or bust!!!
