My Greek Name
Carissa comes from the Greek word charis which means grace.  It is the same word that is used over and over in the koine Greek of the Bible.

For me, my name is more than just a word.  It is meaning in the fullest sense.  I am a sinner given grace by God and made whole by His sacrifice.  Without His grace, I would wither away in a meaningless life. 

I love my name because it is a daily reminder that I was bought with a price by the Lord and I rest always on His neverending grace.
