CHOPPING SPREE

If that paragraph sends a shiver down your back and triggers the memory of a stirring musical theme and a programme about four misfit ex-soldiers with a camp sense of humour, an arsenal of machine guns and a penchant for turning old tractors into heavily armoured battle-tanks, then you're one of a multitude of people who grew up watching The A-Team on Saturday afternoons.

This disc contains three episodes: 'Taxi Cab Wars', 'The Maltese Cow' and 'Chopping Spree'. In each, a group of downtrodden 'little people' are persecuted by a ruthless criminal organisation, so in comes the A-Team to fire their machine guns with gusto (never actually hitting anyone), roll lots of cars and eventually drive the bad guys into submission. It's unrealistic, it's formulaic... it's great entertainment!

As a DVD... well, the only extra you get is a few pages of notes about the series, but then at the bargain price of �12.99 that's not all that bad, particularly since the DVD offers great picture quality and you don't have to put up with any adverts! A great buy for fans of the series.
